Despite their small size, these little bites are packed with nutrients giving you a quick and healthy boost of energy. Each little bite contains 160 kcal, 4.5 g Protein, 34 g Carbohydrates (4.6g Fiber & 21.9 g Natural sugar) and 4g Fat (0.6g Saturated Fat).

These easy bites can be prepared well in advance, as they keep long in the fridge.

Serves 15 medium size energy balls.

2 Cups quick cooking oats

1 Cup pitted medjool dates (~20 dates)

1/2 Cup nuts of your choice (I chose almonds)

2 Tbsp. ground flaxseed

2 Tsp. chia seeds

1 Tbsp. hemp seeds

1 Tbsp. unsweetened cocoa powder

1 Tbsp. coconut flakes

Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.

In a food processor, add all ingredients except the dates and almonds. Mix for a minute until a flour forms.

Add the pitted dates and almonds. Blend for another minute until a dough forms.

Use your hands to portion the mixture and roll into 15 little balls.

Store in an airtight container in your fridge or freezer for up to a month.

Bite and Enjoy!
