As a dietitian, Dana’s role is to translate scientific information about nutrition into practical advice to help you make health-conscious decisions about food. She will assess, diagnose and treat diet-related problems and aim to raise awareness of the link between food and health to prevent future problems.
One-on-one client consultation
Dana is available to offer private consultations for various diet/nutrition inquiries. Topics include but are not limited to: Weight management, Diabetes, Pregnancy/Breastfeeding, Habits/Lifestyle, Meal planning and other.
Initial Consultation and follow-ups
An initial meeting in person is required where an overall assessment is performed through general health/lifestyle questions. An average initial meeting time varies from 45 minutes to 1 hour. Dana may ask for a food diary/ 3 days food intake to be brought on the first meeting in order to obtain a general idea on your intake.
Continuous support and motivation are provided to you through 30-45 minute follow-ups, and the frequency of these meetings will depend on your need. Phone follow-ups are accepted, however a meeting is preferred.
Dana is available to offer nutrition seminars/conferences on all nutrition topics of interest to various age groups.
The number of participants, nutrition topic and frequency/duration of sessions are to be discussed atleast 2 weeks prior to the required date.
