Dana Al-Kahwaji is a registered dietitian with a profound belief in the power of nutrition in maximizing health and well-being. She is a member of the Ordre professionnel des diététistes du Québec (OPDQ) and holds a bachelor degree in Dietetics and Human Nutrition from McGill University.
Dana focuses on a natural approach to healthy eating and considers the individual as a whole. Her focus is to empower people in finding a way of eating that is sustainable, logical and simple.
In addition to her practice in clinical nutrition, Dana shares her passion through various activities in the community. Some of her projects include facilitating series of nutrition seminars at McGill and Concordia University, Workshops with local organizations and sharing articles on popular online magazines such as Canadianmomeh.com. She is reaching further to the public through health talks on Breakfast Television Montreal to give advice on healthy eating.
Since her graduation in 2015, Dana launched her private practice in nutrition under DK WiseNutrition through which she aims to spread her healthy eating message to the public. As her career progresses, she aspires to continue bridging community and client relationships, teaching food skills, and encouraging people to enjoy the pleasure of healthy eating.
Having lived in multiple countries with different cultures and cuisines, Dana has developed interest in experiencing various traditional recipes. To encourage healthy and happy cooking, she takes the time to add a healthy twist to each recipe and shares it with her followers on Facebook and Instagram.
